THE KING & I....OT TO BE MISSED
We saw the show last night... what can I say.... FANTASTIC. The costumes, stage settings, music, actors of all ages... amazing!! The talent shone through from Kelli & Ken right to the youngest cast member. The tickets were a Christmas present and all I can say is “Thank You” to everyone for making a lovely day out absolutely fabulous. Thoroughly recommend

The two principals excellent also the whole cast and Kelli O’Hara as Anna magnificent. we had front stall seats H13/14 and were looked after by the theatre staff and the disabled access and care was superb. A wonderful afternoon.

Saw the opening night in Wimbledon on Valentines Day. Wonderful show with amazing cast and sets. Helen George and Darren Lee were outstanding supported by an excellent cast including all of the little ones. The standing ovation at the end for Anna and the King was well deserved. Highly recommended.

This was one of the most well rehursed and polished show I have seen. The singing and dancing was perfect , costumes fantastic , and the smaller members of the cast so cute , but again knew exactly what they were doing. Absolutely wonderful and highly recommended. Would watch it over and over again xx

THE KING AND I LIVERPOOL
An absolute fantastic performance. Helen George was a joy to watch and has the most amazing singing voice. Dazzling costumes, fabulous dancers and a very impressive and believable King of Siam. Wish I could sit through it all over again

VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER
Went to see King and I 31.3.23 in Bristol hippodrome. The show was wonderful. The whole experience was amazing. The story line was as the original was All the characters were perfect and the songs were sang with heart, strength and stamina. All the acting was meaningful and heartfelt. Myself, my sister and mother loved it. I would recommend this show to everybody. The hippodrome has great access for disabled people who I was with. The only one negative is there was a cold breeze throughout the first half of the show. This shouldn’t happen when it’s a pricey experience and the hippodrome should accommodate its occupants.

WONDERFUL SHOW
We saw the opening performance of TKandI last night at the Regent Theatre, Hanley. What a spectacular production, the dancing and singing are marvellous, every performer from the King and Anna down to the children is perfectly poised. My personal highlight is Eliza’s astonishing dance in the story vignette. Wonderful show.
Julie from Oxford,

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
We just saw the King and I at Oxford New Theatre and I can’t stop smiling! The cast were incredible, both in acting and singing. We are massive fans of the film and it was exactly the same which is such a refreshing change. Honestly one of the best stage shows we have ever seen and we have seen a few. I would see it again no problem at all. Well done to all the cast. Anna and The King, just wow. Everyone, you were fabulous, thank you so much. I didn’t buy a program regrettably so I don’t know the cast members real names but we saw it on 4/10/23. Amazing show which made me laugh and cry. Congratulations to all involved. If you can, go and see it.

GORGEOUS
Went for my dad's birthday present as his late mother was a huge fan. This was a tear jerking and beautiful experience. Especially the children they were excellent. The set design and the costumes were stunning and everybody back stage and beyond making this beautiful king and I performance deserves a round of applause. If I closed my eyes I felt like I was listening to Deborah Kerr. Just amazing!

A BRILLIANT TIME
Was not sure what to expect from Helen George, but the part was made for her. The story telling of Eliza was the best part for me, very well portrayed and danced. The boat she arrives on was the best scenery throughout the show and I agree the rest of scenery was not as good, but it did not spoil any enjoyment whatsoever. I would recommend to older children who love theatre and of course all adults. At the Dominion, my seat was row G 24 aisle seat and my view was brilliant for anyone wanting to book. I would go again, but it's not cheap.

OPENING AFTERNOON PERFORMANCE JANUARY 20 DOMINION THEATRE, LONDON
Entertaining, colourful musical with a decent sized band. The sound was good and the musicians supported the vocal parts well. No over amplification here! Cezarah Bonner (the King's wife) had an singing excellent voice and diction.

EXCELLENT
The show was so good. My daughter visiting from the USA said it’s the best show she’s ever seen. Everyone played their part well, and I love the story and music anyway. We went last night and will be going again in February. Loved it.
Martin from London, England
AMAZING
I really loved this production and couldn’t really fault it the costumes were wonderful and the props though sometimes simple were effective. It was amongst my favourite shows ever and I would love to see it again!
Mermi from London, England
WONDERFUL MUSIC AND PERFORMANCES
I loved Darren Lees performance but all of the cast were fantastic. Helen George is extremely talented . Cezarah Bonner, although so petite, had immense command of the stage as queen Thiang. The orchestra was fantastic and their music combined with the precision of the dancers during "run eliza" was spine chilling. I am privileged to have seen this.

THE KING AND I
Fab show & acting great but disappointed with stage settings
Bored from Bristol,
I FELL ASLEEP THROUGH THE SECOND HALF!
Too slow, uninspiring, scenery too simple. Oh dear.
D Mccracken from Glasgow,
VERY POOR, KINGS IS WAY PAST ITS BEST
Very Poor, Kings is way past its best , ladies toilets in the basement, King & I cast very dissapointed, music played by only a few musicians, Scenery scant and nothing specail, we left at the interval, very dissapointed I cant see us going to the kings again, building needs complete renovation !
Ali from London, England
WALKED OUT *SPOILERS*
So old fashioned. Couldn't hear the leading lady or the son clearly. After the initial wow of the big ship the stage set was virtually non existent. The singing by the lead and support females was so screechy it was bordering on full blown opera. The films are classics, a missed opportunity with no atmosphere and no connection to the audience. The older members of the audience seemed to be enjoying it but not for me. Disappointing.
