Spectacularly re-imagined in a big new music and dance extravaganza.
It's time to break out the bell-bottoms and practice your best Funky Chicken in platform shoes because beloved silver screen classic Saturday Night Fever lives to dance again! Originally a 1977 cult hit film starring a hip-shaking John Travolta in his prime, the nostalgic production fuses the glittering era's best choreography with a stirring coming of age story and a soundtrack chock-full of dance-floor filling hits from the Bee Gees, including Disco Inferno and the iconic falsetto-testing disco mega-hit Stayin' Alive.
What is the story?
The groovy tale follows 19-year-old Brooklyn native and dreamer Anthony 'Tony' Ramero who works a dead-end job during the day but escapes his oppressive reality by reigning as a dance floor king of 2001 Odyssey, his local discotheque. When a big dance competition is announced, Tony manages to partner with the equally gorgeous and talented Stephanie, on the condition they keep things professional. But as the heat of their dancing turns up to the next level, so do their feelings for each other...
