Garth Marenghi
Discover the dark heart of Garth Marenghi as he steps out of the shadows for a rare public appearance, regaling audiences with a presentation of his long-lost multi-volume horror epic: TerrorTome. Expect a chilling and thrilling evening of macabre tales from 'Horror Literature's Greatest Living Author' and self-confessed 'Frighternerman, Darkscribe, Doomsage, and Man-Shee'.
Garth Marenghi is the hack writer alter-ego of comedian, writer, and actor Matthew Holness and was created by Holness and Richard Ayoade. Starting a new wave of 70s-inspired darkly comedic horror, the duo created the hospital-based Garth Marenghi's Dark Place in 2004. Its 80s effects, ridiculous storylines, and fully in-character performances made it a cult hit. . Kickstarting the careers of many of its cast, including Holness, Ayoade, and Matt Berry, and Alice Lowe, it remains a favorite among British comedy fans, with Holness's previous live Garth Margenghi events selling out quickly! Make sure you don't miss your chance to catch the hilarious show when it comes to town in February 2023.
